Who we are looking for

Nomensa are looking to fill a permanent Senior Usability role to devise research plans and methodologies for new projects, conduct user-research studies, report and present the results, create interfaces for new websites and applications, and support the other members of the team.

The person we are looking for is likely to have several years working in an agency in a practitioner role and have good commercial thinking.

As a Senior Usability Analyst at Nomensa, you will be expected to:

  • Quickly understand a client's business , their requirements and objectives to ensure any usability activity is focused on client needs;
  • Develop plans for research programs that will meet clients needs and answer their commercial questions;
  • Conduct various usability and user-centred design techniques including interviews, reviews, usability testing, and surveys;
  • Analyse and translate research findings into actionable solutions that deliver real value including sitemaps, wireframes or specifications for interface adjustments;
  • Prepare compelling reports of an excellent standard that clearly describe issues and detail solutions;
  • Present effectively to clients the findings and recommendations from research;
  • Promote usability services to the marketplace and raise Nomensa’s profile;
  • Pro-actively search for and recommend companies that Nomensa should be approaching to explore work opportunities;

Nomensa's teams work normal office hours, but there is occasionally travel to client meetings or other offices and sometimes over night stays. Evenings and weekends are sometimes necessary for meeting deadlines.
