As an Account Manager at Nomensa you will usually work normal office hours, Monday to Friday. Evenings and weekends are sometimes necessary for meeting deadlines, attending product launches, conferences or exhibitions. Most work is office based, but there is frequently travel to meetings at client offices and sometimes overnight stays.
A degree in Business, Marketing or related subject is a pre-requisite. This position would suit a graduate with 2-3 years commercial experience.
The Role
- Delivery of an agreed revenue target from your client base;
- Managing a portfolio of over 20 clients from a business development, commercial perspective;
- Deliver on yearly targets, ensuring you have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of your portfolio including individual value, billing and contract renewal;
- Proactively develop further business outside of the current client base;
- Confidently present Nomensa’s services at board level;
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with senior management within your client base through regular close contact account management which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication;
- Ensure client satisfaction with Nomensa;
- Liaison with project management to ensure timely and efficient service;
- Act as the main point of contact for commercial and delivery issues;
- Understand client’s business, markets, competition and strategy;
- Exploit a variety of communication channels: reviews, meetings, email newsletters, telephone, client entertainment (where appropriate);
- You will also interact closely with usability analysts, web developers and technologists throughout projects to gather, monitor and analyse performance data and ongoing strategy to identify and recommend future work;
- Ensure you manage expectations of all stakeholders by communicating through meetings, verbal, written and email forms;
- Produce quarterly status reports for each client to establish individual requirements whereby each client receives a bespoke service;
- Handle new project start-ups, contract renewals and Defacto license fees;
- Ensure account plans for each client are updated and ongoing with all current and relevant information concerning the client and current activity;
- Actively seek to increase the services offered to your portfolio and increase the income generated;
- Responding to requests from Directors in an efficient and timely manner;
- Support account marketing and delivery plans and forecasts;
- Provide follow up to marketing campaigns as required to drive commercial success;
- Attend Networking events and trade shows to represent the company and drive commercial success.
The Person

- Be self-confident, committed, enthusiastic and work well under pressure;
- Be able to write concise and accurate reports, proposals and communications;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
