About the role
This is a full time position within a busy web development team. The role involves developing websites and online applications using the Django framework and Python programming language.
This role would suit someone with a minimum of two years Django/Python development experience.
Your skills
- You should have an excellent knowledge of Django/Python (minimum two years experience)
- Experience with version control (Git or similar system)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery)
- Familiarity with web standards and accessibility guidelines would be an advantage
About you
- You should have strong technical ability, and a keen desire to develop and hone your skills
- Enjoy collaborating in a team environment, be able to multitask and prioritise work effectively
- Be results focused, deadline conscious, and passionate about delivering excellent quality
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate will report to Mark Birch, Nomensa’s Technical Director.
The Nomensa team work standard office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm). Travel to meetings, and occasional overnight stays are sometimes required. Evenings and weekends may also be necessary for meeting deadlines.
