Nomensa are committed to continuously improving our standards for professional services; growing and developing teams of talented individuals is a key part of achieving this goal.

Step One - Initial Assessment

Please send the following to careers@nomensa.com:

  • A fully comprehensive curriculum vitae;
  • Business and personal referees;
  • A supporting application* letter explaining why and how you think you can best contribute to Nomensa.

*This does not mean a “covering” letter simply telling us that you have enclosed a C.V.

All applications will be fully reviewed and assessed. Candidates that are not suitable will be advised in writing.

Step Two - Screening

For some positions, you may be asked to complete a self-assessment skills matrix in advance of a telephone interview. This will be supplied via email.

  • We will arrange a convenient time to conduct a telephone screening interview;
  • Telephone screening interviews include preset questions that are applied to all candidates in order that evaluation is not subjective;
  • Telephone interviews usually take between twenty and thirty minutes;
  • This call can be scheduled outside of normal office hours.

Within ten days of the telephone screening interview, you will be notified whether or not your application will proceed to the next step. If so, an interview will be arranged.

Step Three - Interview

Nomensa will arrange an interview at a convenient time for you. The purpose of this meeting is to identify a short list of candidates for final interview.

  • First stage interviews usually last between one and two hours;
  • You may be asked to bring examples of your work for review;
  • Selection interviews are usually held at the Bristol offices.

Candidates will be notified within seven days whether or not they will proceed to the next step. Preferred candidates will then be invited to a final interview.

Step Four - Final Interview

Nomensa will arrange an interview at a convenient time for you. The purpose of this meeting is to finally select the successful applicant.

  • Final interviews usually last between one and three hours;
  • You may be asked to explain to team members about projects you have worked on;
  • You will meet colleagues that you will work with if successful;
  • Final interviews are usually held at the Bristol offices.

Candidates will be notified within three days of the result.

Step Five - Successful Candidates

During the first six months probationary period, assignments will be closely monitored by a member of the management team in addition to analysis of client feedback though our customer satisfaction surveys.

Having made the commitment, Nomensa will provide personal development assistance to help successful candidates to pass the probationary period.

  • Feedback is available upon request for unsuccessful candidates;
  • We check references in detail; an offer of employment is always subject to confirmation of positive references.
