Simon founded Nomensa in May 2001. He had a vision that the Internet could be more inclusive and the industry a more accountable profession.
Experience
Simon has over ten years experience in the Internet industry, breaking new ground in the field of accessibility and usability.
Simon's experience with Internet technologies goes back to 1995 when he founded a new media company; Creative Digital that pioneered work in web design and Internet marketing.
As managing director, Simon is responsible for the growth and development of Nomensa. He delivers company strategy and vision; integrating and refining human centred design techniques to ensure that every project is both delivered to the highest standards and provides success for all clients.
Education
Simon holds a combined honours degree in Human Biology and Human Psychology from Aston University, and has a Masters degree in Cognitive Science from Cardiff University.

Simon’s professional memberships include;
- Being the co-founder of the Usability and Accessibility Working Group (UA-WG);
- British Computer Society (BCI);
- Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA);
- International Visual Communication Association (IVCA).
