13th January 2010

Today’s Golfer has collaborated with user experience consultancy, Nomensa to assess website usability.

Nomensa’s usability experts analysed the Today’s Golfer site in order to address any issues and improve the user-experience of the site.

A spokesman from Today’s Golfer has commented:

The entire golf team worked hand in hand with Nomensa over the past few months to pull together some really focused work that keeps the consumer at the heart of the product, and delivers a consistent message across all of our golf products. Nomensa's guidance and insight played a pivotal role in keeping us true to our mission of helping golfers to play better golf, and it's paying back already.

Since Nomensa’s recommendations have been implemented, Today’s Golfer have seen impressive results, receiving their highest ever number of unique visitors of 140,000 in April.

The Today’s Golfer team were especially thrilled with the results after breaking commercial budgets two months in a row, exceeding expectations particularly in the current economic climate.

Today’s Golfer were equally happy to see their promotion – “2-FORE!-1” - sales up by 50%.

The partnership began with Nomensa experts analysing the Today’s Golfer site and conducting user testing sessions, it was from here that recommendations for changes were made that would improve the overall user-experience.

Simon Norris, Managing Director at Nomensa comments;

Today’s Golfer have seen fantastic results since working with Nomensa to improve the website’s usability. They have surpassed commercial budgets which proves that by having a usable website, commercial goals can still be achieved despite the tough economic climate.
