Research and Design for National Autistic Society

Over half a million people in the UK have autism.

We conducted pioneering research into how this diverse audience interact and engage on the web.

We applied the findings of this research into designing and developing the website of The National Autistic Society (NAS), the UK’s leading autism charity.

A key challenge of this project was to ensure that we structured the NAS website in a way that made it accessible to people with autism and offered a positive user experience.

What we achieved was an intuitive and visually striking website which truly reflects the aspirations of the NAS as a charity and its status as a leading provider of information and services for people with autism.

The site is accessed by nearly a quarter of a million people affected by autism every month.
