The Internal Application will address a number of Business Issues
Bristol, UK, 8th January 2003 - Nomensa, experts in improving e-business effectiveness through humanising design, today announced the completion of a user requirements analysis, prototype development and user-testing programme for BAE Systems's Advanced Technology Centre (ATC).
The internal application was designed to address a number of internal business issues and optimise working practices. Nomensa devised and developed a system specification once a program of user and task requirements analysis had been completed. This led onto the development of a working prototype and user-testing programme to ensure that a high level of usability was designed into the product.
A spokesperson for the Human Factors Department of BAE Systems ATC commented:
"The Human Factors Department of the BAE Systems Advanced Technology Centre is highly satisfied with the quality of work undertaken on our behalf by Nomensa. The professional outlook of Nomensa's staff, coupled with their business awareness and human-centric emphasis, was particularly pleasing."
Simon Norris, a founder of Nomensa commented:
"It was a great challenge for Nomensa to work with the Human Factors Department of BAE Systems ATC. Their knowledge and appreciation of placing the user at the centre of design process is exemplary. The result of our work was a thorough analysis of the current situation. This led to the creation of key recommendations for future developments."
The assignment is a further endorsement of how the Nomensa approach to humanising the user experience will have a positive effect on both development processes and internal working practices.
