Nomensa staff get their jeans on…
In their constant push to support worthy causes, everyone at Nomensa will be wearing their jeans to work to support Jeans for Genes Day 2006 this Friday.
This year Jeans for Genes aims to raise £4 million to fund pioneering research into genetic disorders and to provide vital support services for affected children and their families. More information at www.jeansforgenes.com.
Nomensa strongly believe in supporting the local community and national projects, including:
Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal
Nomensa use net stationers as a stationary supplier. This company was chosen due to its close ties with Wallace and Gromit’s Grand appeal where 5% of all sales are donated.
Emmaus
Any office furniture that is not needed at Nomensa is donated to the local charity Emmaus Bristol. This worthy charity involves taking unwanted items, restoring if necessary and selling on to support the community.
British Computer Association of the Blind
In the past Nomensa has worked very closely with The British Computer Association of the Blind (BCAB), who get actively involved in enabling visually impaired people to access and use information communication technologies. Nomensa designed, built and host their website. And continue to work with to develop their website and services further.
