A high level conference on ICT for an inclusive society
Léonie Watson, Nomensa’s Head of Accessibility, has been invited to join a high level conference hosted by the European Commission and the Austrian Government. The conference, ICT for an inclusive society will be held in Riga, Latvia from the 11-13th June.
Watson will join other practitioners, senior representatives of civil society, representative groups from industry and Ministers from all EU Member States, to set the policy agenda for the coming years and identify how best to implement the agenda.
Speaking of the upcoming conference, Watson said:
I’m delighted to be engaged in such an important process. The European Commission is taking e-Inclusion very seriously and this is a wonderful opportunity to help shape EU policy and become actively involved at such a privileged level.
