Fully accessible Defacto CMS supports visually impaired users

British Computer Association of the Blind LogoThe British Computer Association of the Blind (BCAB) has launched a new website with the help from the digital online user experience agency Nomensa.

Launched on July 10th 2006, the BCAB website is set to become a central hub of communication and information for visually impaired people.

Designed by Nomensa and managed through their accessible Content Management System (CMS), Defacto, the website represents a major step forward in creativity and technology for BCAB, by allowing members to develop and maintain their website through the accessible interface of Defacto.

It’s exciting to launch a new website under any circumstances, but knowing that the underlying technology will support our web team, with all our various access technologies, really sets it apart.
