Nomensa Managing Director discusses latest research.

Simon Norris, Managing Director of digital agency Nomensa appeared today on BBC News 24 to discuss the findings the 2006 Top 30 Online Retailers research which was released today.

The report, which has been picked up by a number of broadcasters and publications, discusses the findings from the recent research conducted by Nomensa experts into the accessibility of the most popular UK online shopping sites. Norris commented:

Accessibility is now a very important issue in the UK, yet it is obvious with the release of our research that some of the most important and most visited shopping websites are still not taking it seriously.

He continues:

I am very pleased that Nomensa have once again bought this issue into the open, and that a corporation as prominent as the BBC is helping promote web accessibility to the public.

With the Christmas period now rapidly approaching, websites will miss out on huge opportunities unless website accessibility is given greater importance on the corporate agenda.
