Nomensa redesign Debenhams homepage in time for the Christmas rush

Nomensa, London and Bristol-based digital agency, has beaten strong competition to win the appointment by Debenhams to develop a creative design for their website’s homepage, the gateway to the rest of its website. Launched in time for Christmas, Debenhams busiest time of the year, the design is highly usable, allowing visitors to intuitively find their way deeper into the Debenhams website, and therefore increase conversion rates for Debenhams and provide a better online user experience for its customers.

Brett Bennett, web development manager, Debenhams comments:

We are convinced this design will make a dramatic difference to our user experience, user volumes beyond the homepage and overall revenue in this crucial trading period.

Nomensa was chosen because of their user experience expertise and ability to react quickly and work collaboratively with Debenhams other partners.

Léonie Watson, head of accessibility, Nomensa comments:

By drawing together accessibility, usability and design, we've helped Debenhams improve their online customer experience. It's a tremendous opportunity to be working with one of the most famous high street names in the UK.
