Parkers logoEmap's pioneering digital business, parkers.co.uk, makes significant advances to online offering.

Parkers.co.uk provides millions of buyers with independent and accurate prices and information for cars, vans, and motorbikes. The Parker's team monitor 1.5 million vehicle sales every year, and the website attracts over a million unique users per month*.

Partnering with Nomensa, the digital agency which specialises in perfecting online user experience, Parkers.co.uk has been re-launched, after extensive user-orientated research and development.

Kieren Puffett, Parker's Editor, explains the improvements:

Our overall aim for the re-launch was to make the Parker's experience easier and more intuitive for people who are not hardcore car enthusiasts. We have also added some important new features, including the Car Chooser function, which allows users to pre-select a car based on their lifestyle requirements. We are already seeing a positive impact on traffic and have received great feedback from users.

The new Parkers.co.uk now also offers a 'motoring shop' - allowing users to research and buy insurance, finance, warranties, and even servicing, online.

2007 has been an eventful year for Parker's - a sophisticated mobile service was launched in September, allowing access to valuations, reviews, news and cars for sale, on the move.

The parkers.co.uk re-launch will be supported by a viral marketing campaign, called 'dodgy dealer', which won a 2007 Cannes Lion creative advertising award.
