Location: Bristol
This is a full-time position, in a team role, fulfilling the need for expansion within a busy technology team.
The role involves ensuring that internal and external systems are
secure and operational. Working with both clients and colleagues, the
role is pivotal in supporting a lively technology company, ensuring
that servers and applications are reliable and available. A combination
of support and systems administration will be required.
Duties include monitoring and maintaining networks of Microsoft Windows and Linux computers, administering several open and closed source applications, troubleshooting problems and proactively looking at ways to help the company and technology grow. Daily activities will involve dealing with internal and external support queries. A firm knowledge of DNS, mail servers, web application deployment and hardware configuration. The ability to follow change control processes and provide effective documentation is essential.
To apply for this role you must have at least 2-3 years experience of managing computers and networks with a proven track record, together with a good understanding of both Windows and Linux platforms.
