Internet users in Kent can now access new and improved information on housing applications.

Residents in Sevenoaks can visit the Public Access for Planning area of the district council's website and get hold of constantly updated planning information more easily and efficiently that ever before.

"Public Access for Planning provides up-to-date details of all planning applications 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is one of the most popular parts of our website," said councillor Gary William, council cabinet member with responsibility for planning.

He went on to say that after user feedback, the site has been completely revamped, offering a range of new features.

These include interactive on-line maps, improved search features and browser support and the ability to view records of planning applications related to a particular site.
