Information on registered companies in Northern Ireland is now accessible at the click of a button.
The Companies Registry has launched a new web-based facility that allows users to register for free online in order to view company information such as office addresses, mortgage indexes and disqualified directors.
There is also the facility to pay for other company documents and receive them by email.
The online service is accessible via the Northern Ireland Executive's Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment's website.
"The new online service offers a more convenient way for customers to access information quickly," said Rosaleen McMullan from Companies Registry.
"This e-business service represents the culmination of over three years of change and modernisation in the registry," she added.
Prior to the launch of this service, company information was only available if people went in person to the Companies Registry in Belfast.
