Online recruitment in Europe is continuing to grow at a rapid pace.
The Monster Employment Index for Europe has reported a surge in online recruiting in October.
The index rose from 110 in September to 113 by the end of last month. It started with a base level of 100 last December.
The index is based on the number of job postings on over 1,400 websites across the U.K, France, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
France saw the steepest rise the level of online recruiting, followed the UK and the Netherlands.
The chief executive of Monster Worldwide Europe, Peter Dolphin, says the statistics are "very encouraging".
Employment sectors seeing the most online recruitment activity included IT and sales, marketing and PR businesses.
There was a particularly sharp rise in vacancies in sales and within the research and development sector.
