A new online system has been launched making it even easier for residents in Selby to access local council services.
It means people can use relevant services at a click of a button rather than having to phone the council or visit the council in person.
Accessible information will include details on social services and local education provisions.
"The introduction of the ground breaking new Internet service is the first stage in a long-term plan to make it easier for everyone to access the council services they need," said Mark Crane, leader of Selby District Council.
"This innovative project puts Selby District Council at the forefront of delivering easy to access services in ways that meet the needs of people living and working in the Selby district," he added.
Next on the council's accessibility agenda is the opening of a new customer service centre, consolidating all the council's services in one place.
Members of the public will then be able to contact an advisor over the phone or in person about any council related query.
