A campaign has been launched in Cornwall to encourage the use of wireless broadband hotspots in the county.
The initiative has been organised by actnow, a broadband provider that has sponsored some of the county's hotspots.
People in Cornwall can now get online at over 100 sites including cafes, pubs, service stations and hotels.
The Internet user just needs a wireless enabled laptop or PDA to connect to the web for the relatively cheap rate of under 1p a minute.
"In Cornwall, you are now never more than 10 minutes from broadband," said Nigel Ashcroft, project manager for actnow.
"Now you can enjoy the speed and convenience of broadband internet deep on Bodmin Moor, in a stunning cliff top location - or just at a convenient stopping place on the A30, over a cup of coffee."
