The search engine Google has listed the top searches of 2005.
Bringing together the most popular people, events and news searches for 2005, the "Year-End Zeitgeist" highlights the top topics that caught our attention this year.
Topping the searches chart is the Myspace website, followed by file sharing website Ares.
The online encyclopaedia Wikipedia came in at number four and Sky News was number seven.
Green Day and Leonardo da Vinci came in at ninth and tenth position respectively.
Google also compiled a list of top news searches with Janet Jackson and Hurricane Katrina registering the most searches.
I-pods and digital cameras were the most-searched for products via Froogle.
