A new campaign has been launched today by a British organisation aimed at improving Internet accessibility and usability for people with Dyslexia.
The Adult Dyslexia Organisation (ADO) introduced its "Dyslexia Friendly: User Friendly" campaign earlier this afternoon and the organisation is now appealing for willing participants to come forward and contribute to their groundbreaking research.
According to Usability News, the campaign includes scientific research into at least four main areas, the foremost being improved web accessibility for Dyslexic individuals.
The group added that e-learning accessibility, interface design (including software) and print accessibility represent the other three sectors to be placed under scrutiny.
ADO has teamed up with Key2Access for the campaign, which seeks to create a "community of research and collaboration" for those involved in accessibility and dyslexia.
A brief online questionnaire has been made available at: http://www.adult-dyslexia.org/research.rtf, which is hoped will help trigger interest and public involvement in the campaign.© DeHavilland Information Services plc
