Police in Hertfordshire are using the Internet as a vital tool in their interaction with the county's youth.
Policing in the modern era requires the use of modern methods, and the Internet has an integral part to play in advancing the progress of the constabulary in Britain.
For this reason, Hertfordshire Police have developed an online questionnaire aimed at under-19s.
The questionnaire asks youths how communication between teenagers and the police can be improved, and the information that it provides will be of considerable value in helping police to provide a better service to the people of Hertfordshire.
Superintendent Rob Henry commented: "There are over 260,000 under-19s in Hertfordshire, which is a significant part of the population, and they deserve the opportunity to make their views known to us which will in turn help us improve the services we can provide for them."
He added: "We would encourage all young people to have their say by completing our online questionnaire at www.herts.police.uk and encourage their friends and siblings to do the same.
The questionnaire will be available online until the end of August.
