A new online resource has been launched making it easier to access investment advice online.

The new online facility has been created by the HBOS business, Clerical Medical. It has been named Workbench and it brings together a number of tools to help financial advisors. It can provide real-time market information and send out email updates on fund and product information.

It is just the latest online development in the company's progress towards bringing closer online interaction between financial advisers and their clients. The Workbench aims to improve advisers' ability to review clients' investment aims. It can produce personalised reports covering all aspects of a client's potential investment, including risk profiling and planned objectives.
