A new online photo shop offering digital prints will soon be accessible to every UK household with Internet access.
The supermarket chain, Asda, is launching this new service next month. The service will allow customers to either order photos via the website or download their digital images online and collect them from their local store within an hour.
"When it comes to photo processing we're aiming to put customers firmly in the picture, with a new online service that focuses on being quick and easy to use, " said Tony Page, non food director at Asda.
The new photo shop is the latest investment the supermarket has made in e-commerce, having already developed its web based grocery delivery service, entertainment site and online optical service.
