The specialist TV channel for teachers will soon be accessible via online podcasts.
From Wednesday January 11th, Teachers' TV will be able to provide programming that can be viewed via Apple's video iPods.
It marks the next step in the channel's pioneering use of new technologies, as it already has nearly 700 programmes available for viewing on or downloading from its website.
The channel was also the first in the UK to provide nearly 100 per cent of its programmes online at its website. It has attracted over half a million visitors and has over 39,000 registered users.
"We are delighted to be unveiling this new digital platform which will enable our audience to watch Teachers' TV programmes whenever and wherever most convenient," Martin Trickey, a director at the channel told the publictechnology website.
"Teachers' TV is constantly innovating to utilise the latest digital technology and provide the greatest range of formats through which content can be viewed and used," he concluded.
