The Prince of Wales has relaunched his official website with an increased focus on accessibility.
Accessibility and navigation functions have been upgraded as part of the improvements, which will also see video downloads and a children's zone included.
From April 1st 2005 to March 31st 2006 the website recorded 74 million page impressions, with Internet users able to access news, press releases and speeches from the heir to the throne.
The Prince of Wales website states: "This website seeks to meet the double-A standards set by the W3C [World Wide Web Consortium] Web Content Accessibility Guidelines."
"We aim to continuously test the website to maintain this level of accessibility."
The site features a number of accessibility functions, including alternative text on all images and resizable text.
Additionally, the revamped portal will include case studies of individuals who have been helped by the various charities which the prince and his family support.
