The Scottish National Party (SNP) is hoping that Internet technology can help it to appeal to new voters.
Net-savvy graduates and young professionals have been targeted by a series of podcasts, which will be available online.
Nicola Sturgeon, the party's depute leader, noted that by embracing new technology, the party could get its message across to a wider range of voters.
Furthermore, Ms Sturgeon states that younger adults are specifically targeted by the party, as they often share the ideals which it is trying to create.
"Any advantage we can gain by employing new technology could be crucial in shaping public opinion and delivering a real Scottish government to stand up for the interests of the people of Scotland."
Alex Salmond, the party leader, recently appeared in the first of these podcasts, which will appear monthly in the run-up to the election.
The SNP estimates that one in four 24 to 40-year-olds have iPods, which make them potential targets for podcasts.
