A new website has been created in a bid to help farmers to maximise profits.

Jointly created by the Red Meat Industry Forum (RMIF) and the British Pig Executive (BPEX), the new online portal allows farmers to view "invaluable" information.

Featuring BPEX British Pig Health Scheme data and RMIF benchmarking information, the Prime Numbers website has also been designed with usability in mind, to ensure content and functions are easily navigable.

Clare Wise, RMIF project manager, said: "For the first time they will have easy access to all the information they need to improve their profitability which will be invaluable.

"It has been designed to be user-friendly to make it as easy as possible for producers to get the greatest value out of it."

A similar website was recently launched for the dairy cattle industry, enabling farmers to benchmark and compare their current practice to evaluate how extra profits can be made.
