A new free Internet cafe designed with specialised accessibility features has opened in the US.
The cafe - named Good Bytes - offers assistive technology designed for disabled individuals, such as magnifying software and a joystick mouse, reports WebProNews.
In addition, specialised equipment is available which enables Internet users to point and click using eye movement alone.
Good Bytes has been created by the not-for-profit group Goodwill and funded by a $125,000 (£63,684) donation from AT&T.
Goodwill comments: "The cafe will offer access to assistive technology for individuals with hearing impairments, vision loss and physical restrictions."
A job centre will also be available offering technology and skills training to patrons, as well as placement opportunities.
In order to keep the establishment financially secure, managers will divert profits from made by food served at the cafe.
Goodwill was established more than 60 years ago and states that its aim is to foster respect for those facing employment challenges due to their disabilities.
