Canterbury Council has launched a new campaign aimed at getting more people to visit their website.
It has been called "@ your leisure" and is aimed at promoting the fact that the website is not constricted by conventional office hours and allows browsers to access up-to-date local information at anytime of day.
The campaign is also focussing particularly on the popular online facilities such as parking, recycling, planning, housing benefits and council tax.
The council aims to boost uptake on its online services through a poster and leafleting campaign, accompanied with adverts in newspapers and on park and ride buses.
Councillor Rosemary Doyle hopes the campaign will ensure local people know they can access council services at their convenience, simply and quickly.
"They can get the information when they want to, rather than being restricted to the opening hours at the council offices," she said.
"If anyone hasn't visited our website recently, they really should take a look. They'll be surprised at how much there is on there."
