A roadshow has been travelling around Stockport to promote a website that helps give advice to young people.
The website called ursorted has been designed to give support to young people on issues ranging from going to university to being bullied.
It also includes a directory of services and agencies that can provide further support to children and young people in the area.
The site has proven itself to be popular, gaining over 2,5000 hits during its first three weeks, reports the website egovmonitor.
It was created and funded by Stockport council and features online resources for both young people, parents and practitioners.
The Stockport Council's Children and Young People's Directorate, which includes the drug action team and the teenage pregnancy strategy team, compiled the actual content of the site.
The website designers have tried to keep children's need for privacy in mind, with the site featuring a 'hide my visit' button, which if clicked will bring up a completely different webpage.
It is designed so visitors can if they wish read up on sensitive issues without anyone else seeing what they are reading.
