Representatives from the IT world are coming together to campaign for more examples of best practise within the industry.
The IT Professionalism programme has been launched at the Prof IT 2006 Conference in London and sees a working partnership being formed between the British Computer Societym e-skills UK, Intellect and the National Computing Centre.
A goal of boosting the professional standards of the IT industry has been set to ensure businesses get the best possible IT systems to meet their increasing demands.
The programme holds a belief that the most successful businesses in the future will be those that make the best decisions in the strategic management of intellectual property, along with implementing advanced technological systems to boost the efficiency of their business.
By 'professionalising' the IT industry, ICT experts believe they can help shape the successful future of enterprises.
