Three Internet service providers (ISPs) all owned by NTL will offer broadband customers video clips from the Big Brother house.

NTL, Telewest and Virgin.net are to provide the video highlight footage along with daily news stories and photographs, following a deal between NTL and Channel 4 New Media.

The content on the ntlworld.com, blueyonder.co.uk and Virgin.net websites also includes an exclusive column by Derek Laud, who appeared on last year's show.

In addition, NTL customers who have a 4Mb or 10Mb connection will be able to access a free, live 24/7 feed from the house as part of their broadband plus package. The feed is only available elsewhere on the Channel 4 website for a fee of £7.99.

Philip Snalune, managing director of consumer products at NTL, said: "Big Brother 7 promises to be one of the must-watch events of the summer and this exclusive deal means our customers will be able to get all the news and gossip from the house as soon as it breaks.

"It's the first time that we've run content across NTL, Telewest and Virgin.net sites and with over eight million combined unique users a month we'll be looking to capitalise on this going forward."
