A digital marketing firm WebSideStory has launched a tool in Europe to help clients in the region provide improved online advertising and other marketing systems.

The Active Marketing Suite, which was launched in the US last year, is according to the firm the first location to access fully integrated, on-demand digital marketing applications.

Therefore, functions like web analytics, site search, keyword bid management and web content management are available from one place, enabling marketers to develop a range of online campaigns without having to use multiple solutions.

WebSideStory has a number of high profile clients, which include the Guardian, Bloomingdales, Motorola and BMW, and hopes to rapidly increase its customer base with the tool, as online marketing is expected to grow at a fast rate.

According to JupiterResearch, online retail spending in Europe will rise by more than 50 per cent over the next five years, from €57.9 billion (£39.9 billion) in 2006 to €117.1 billion (£80.7 billion) in 2010.

In addition, online advertising, search engine marketing and mobile and broadband usage have been predicted to increase at a similar rate.
