An interactive parenting magazine, inspired by Harry Potter, has been dubbed iChild and will go live from June 21st 2006.
Described by its director as "the world's first truly interactive online parenting magazine", the service will give UK-wide parenting advice at the touch of a button.
Phil Bird, director of iChild, commented: "The magazine breaks new ground in new media by creating a magazine which looks and feels just like a printed magazine.
"You can even turn pages and, by using the latest technology, readers can watch video features at the same time."
"iChild is aimed at working mums who are short on time and need bite-sized information that they can access at work, at home or on their laptops."
The site draws upon the expertise of mother of three Dr Carol Cooper, a practising medical doctor and author of several parenting books.
The company is also launching the iChild parenting club for parents, where they can get access to advice from pre-birth to primary school on the Internet.
