The government has relaunched its website, aiming to provide better support for councils improving public services.
In addition to providing a greater range of tools and advice to government officials, the website now has improved usability and is easier to navigate.
Furthermore, future improvements are expected, with themes such as transformational government and efficiency to become available, reflecting current priorities in local government.
Paul Roberts, director of strategy, information and development at the Improvement and Development Agency that the changing nature of government requires dynamic support.
"As the changes to the improvement network website are based on feedback from councils, those enhancements allow users to access the information they need, when they want it.
He added that online registration will take updates, advice and improvement tools will provide a "convenient and useful" service, ensuring that councils can access new developments as they occur.
Mr Roberts also encouraged all managers and service heads to sign up to the website and take advantage of the "valuable resources" and support available.
Meanwhile, the government recently launched a website which aims to provide small businesses with access to local government work contracts to ensure both parties get the best support available.
