Earlier this week, Her Majesty's Courts Services (HMCS) announced that it is to concentrate on delivering online services to the public.

The HMCS's annual report stated that part of its "strategic goal" was to help develop and "take advantage" of its Internet-based services over the next five years.

It hopes that through improving its online presence, as well as increasing administration efficiency and reducing case management delays, the HMCS will be able to put "courts at the heart of communities, increasing justice for all, transforming service delivery and ensuring respect and confidence in the courts".

Earlier this year, the courts services' marketing team launched a website that offers commercial filmmakers the opportunity to view possible locations.

Providing images on a variety of courts in London, the north-east and the south-east, the gallery aims to promote the diverse range of HMCS's sites.
