A new website has been launched in a bid to allow Yorkshire businesses to communicate and work more effectively.

Aiming to improve the digital accessibility of information and contacts for local organisations, the portal has been established by the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and the Doncaster Strategic Partnership.

The website contains information specifically selected for the local business community and for individuals living, working and investing in the region.

Dee Bodle, head of business support, claims that the usability of the site is key to its success.

"We wanted to bring new methods of working to our members and to those visiting, re-locating to, or investing in the region," he said.

"The portal helps us to achieve this, by providing a simple, friendly interface for all types of users."

Ms Bodle concludes that the website will make a significant contribution to the overall service provided to users and a service which the organisations will continue to develop for the members of the Chamber and the wider community of Doncaster and South Yorkshire.
