A series of seminars are being held in Exeter, in a bid to help local businesses harness the potential of the Internet.
The group, Reach New Customers Online, is aiming to provide organisations with practical solutions to generate new business through their website and advertising, the Exeter Express & Echo reports.
Another aim of the seminar is to help businesses understand the importance of the Internet as a growing source of business and sales, with particular regard to search engine optimisation.
Search engine optimisation is vital for many businesses, as it allows them to have a high position in google or other services, widening their audience and raising their profile.
Case studies will be made available to attendees, demonstrating ways in which organisations have reaped benefits from the Internet and showing how new technology and advertising methods can directly increase profits.
Media buyer Carat recently predicted that advertising online will outstrip other media and dominate the market.
