A new website has been created, designed to help pubs, caterers and restaurants to source quality British food.
The online portal has been created by created by food supplier Brakes, with the launch coinciding with British Food Fortnight, the Publican reports.
James Armitage, Brakes' head of marketing, said: "As a supporter of British Food Fortnight and British suppliers we felt to launch a website to help caterers who wanted to promote British food was a great idea.
"We aim to continue to add to the site and am sure it will become a useful tool for caterers when developing their menus and looking for ideas."
Brakes has more than 500 products available on the site, for publicans to browse.
The foods available range from Scottish Beef, British Pork and Welsh Lamb, as well as pre-prepared meals and cheeses.
