The Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL) will host a number of events designed to exhibit the potential of digital technologies.

A series of one-day e-gazing events will be held in spring 2007, which aim to "stretch the horizons" of organisational leaders and introduce them to new ways of incorporating e-learning.

The CEL is a body designed to support leadership, reform and sustainability within the learning and skills sector.

Experts are expected to be on hand to offer guidance and stimulate debate about the potential offered by evolving technologies.

The CEL comments: "These seminars have been designed to give leaders a real advantage in understanding the wider context and the possibilities that e-learning can offer them."

Additionally, the organisation notes that effectively managing change and being prepared for the scenarios created by future advancements are key to the roles of leaders.
