A Conservative MP has created a website for people to report any problems with NHS waiting times.
The government has established a 48-hour waiting time target for people wishing to be seen by their GP.
However, Grant Shapps, MP for Welwyn Hatfield, believes that many UK residents are not being seen within this period.
He created the website to offer a forum for individuals wishing to record their grievances and struggling to find an appointment.
Since it was established, the online service has been visited by a number of patients wishing to express their dissatisfaction.
"The problem is that people who don't get through on the phone obviously aren't being recorded in the figures and that means the picture looks better than it actually is," Mr Shapps told the BBC.
All information provided to the service is done so in confidence, if the user requests that their details remain private.
