Advantage West Midlands has announced that it will be upgrading its website in a bid to comply with accessibility guidelines.
The organisation, which aims to support businesses and communities in the area, will enable them to create their own web presence on the site - something which it highlights as vital for small businesses.
As Sian Jamieson, e-Communications Team Leader at Advantage West Midlands, explains: "An online presence is key to the success of any company today."
Through the upgrade, all of these small enterprises and community projects which rely on this support from the development agency will now be able to offer web presences which comply with accessibility guidelines.
The web hosting facility will ensure that content is displayed in a "consistent, user-friendly and fully accessible format", Ms Jamieson added.
Overall, Advantage West Midlands' fundamental stated aim is to transform the region into one which is better for businesses and residents alike.
