The Local Authority Road Safety Officers' Association (LARSOA) has revealed that it aims to improve accessibility of information, as well as the usability of its website as part of a site relaunch.
LARSOA stated that it wishes to become a primary resource for road safety information, with easy access to advice and training for officers or members of the general public.
David Frost, Spokesman for the organisation, remarked that the refurbished website provides a "new dimension" to road safety, thanks to its easy-to-use nature.
"It is easy to navigate with a wealth of information, help and advice which is easily accessible to all and we hope people both nationally and internationally will benefit from the exchange of ideas on it," he commented.
Mr Frost concluded by saying that the website should be attractive to people whether they are "looking for information or inspiration".
Last week, a US-based web expert commented that accessibility promotes the "free exchange of information".
The comments from Joshua Strebel came as his company's website went through a relaunch of its own.
