The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) has launched a new website featuring higher levels of accessibility.

Designed to comply with level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, the site was created with consultation from members and web users.

Officials at the organisation hope that the new site will be better able to meet the needs of its user base, with new features including print-friendly versions of each web page available.

Janice Liverseidge, Communications Director at the RSM, said that further work and additional content can be added "now that the first phase of the RSM's website redevelopment has been completed".

The organisation describes the changes to the website as a "dramatic improvement".

Internet users can access the site in order to find out news and media releases about the industry and learn ways in which they can take part in fundraising work for the RSM.
