Three Taunton students have helped to create a new website designed to aid individuals suffering with emotional and mental distress.
The site, which was created to cater for young people in the area, covers topics such as bullying, self harm and eating disorders.
Hailing from Somerset College, Taunton, students George Seba, Ryan Davis and Andrew MacDonald took part in the creation of The Maze Advocacy Project portal, which was officially launched by MP Jeremy Brown, reports the Somerset County Gazette.
Joe Roberson, leader of The Maze Advocacy Project, said: "There is a lack of advocacy and rights based services for young people in Somerset experiencing mental and emotional distress."
He added that a high-quality website is a vital step in completing the project's goals.
The project was officially launched in the Somerset and Cardiff areas in April 2006 and draws on cash from the Big Lottery Fund to help local youngsters.
