A new application in facebook called the Jobster’s Facebook application will connect the community website’s users to the recruitment teams of where they want to work.
The CEO of Jobster, Jason Goldberg, commented:
Jobster is all about connecting employers with valuable audiences,
and went on to say
this application was created with user feedback at its core. We spent the last six months learning from Facebook users about how we can best help them further their careers and have now coupled that understanding with our Talent Network capabilities for employers.
Facebook members that want to use the Jobster application should sign up for the employer Talent Networks. This information is then provided to the recruitment teams that are using Jobster.
Not only can this be used as a recruitment tool, but users will be able to locate their friends who work at a specific company to seek career advice.
