A website developed for online filmmakers and intranet video is expanding to enable it’s users to network and gain employment opportunities whilst up holding its exclusivity.

The Daily Reel has launched a networking section on the website intended for creators rather than the watchers of online videos. An attraction of the networking area, called ReeledIn, is that although membership is free and open for all it specifically targets a more specialised audience unlike those of YouTube and MySpace so the over posting of Videos is dramatically reduced. Jeff stern, chief executive of The Daily Reel commented:

Most online video sites are targeted to watchers. Our audience is the activists, the doers

The idea behind ReeledIn is to allow those with an interest in the industry the opportunity make themselves known and showcase their work whilst developing and learning from the ideas of others.
