New Look have released plans for its new transactional website to be bigger than its high street flagship stores.

New Look, known as a low-cost female fashion brand is one of the first budget high street retailers to take their proposition online. Shaun Wills, strategy director of New Look, commented:

we’d be really happy to have turnover exceeding that of our Oxford Street West store by the end of the year one.

The strategic push behind this move stems from New Look wanting to increase its market share over other budget retailers in this market. Primark has also decided to take its proposition online, but are yet to make it a transactional website.
